Job Opportunity: Experienced Lathe Machinist
Location: Mineola, TX
Company: Lake Country Machine – A leading machine shop specializing in precision manufacturing.
We're expanding our team and seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist with hands-on experience operating Haas lathes (NGC controller preferred). If you're detail-oriented, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership of projects from start to finish, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret part drawings and open them in CAD software ( preferably Fusion 360).
Program parts by applying toolpaths, set up the Haas lathe, proof out the program, and run production efficiently and on time.
Independently spec parts, and ensure high-quality completion with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience operating Haas lathes – this is essential.
Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced shop environment.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Fusion 360 for programming (experience with any CAD/CAM software is a strong plus).
A solid foundation in the above processes – while we can provide training on specifics, a head start is ideal.
